Notes from a caller

On my informercial on AMOR CUBANO in a bottle, a tube and a small packet I receive many calls. Jes, many, many callers. Some very nice. Some not so nice. Pero, I like all my callers, I do. Here's a conversation I had with a caller. Maybe you will find it interesting. I don't know. You tell me.

Gracias.

con mucho amor cubano,
Barbarita Perales

Barbarita:
Yes, hello, this is Barbarita Perales, inventor of AMOR CUBANO in a bottle, a tube and a small packet. May I ask who is calling?

Caller:
Barbarita, this is Bob Buchanan from Houston, Texas. How are you doing sweet thang? Remember me?

Barbarita:
How can I forget you, Bobito. I mean Bob.

Caller:
Barbarita, I am calling to plead with you. I know we are on air, so you can’t refuse. You got connections with Castro, Barbarita. Have you talked to him about my idea?

Barbarita:
Sorry, Bob. I know you think it’s a good idea pero, Cuba is just not right for this project.

Caller:
Ok, lets see what other people will think. People of America. I’ve propositioned this to Barbarita awhile back but she won’t listen to me. I’ve been to Cuba a few times. All legal, sanctioned by the US government. Nice place down there folks. Good drinks, nice ladies. But there is something lacking down there. Department stores. I ask people where they get all these name brand stores and they tell me the street. But I don’t see no guy trying to sell any clothes.

People of America I am thinking Chemarts. Huge lit up billboards with a different image of Che Guevara every second. It will be like Time Square but better. Bigger. It will take over the island. Don’t you see it fluorescents lights, aisles and aisles full of everything you can imagine. Chemarts can be built all over the country. Think of the money it will bring in. The Cubans love that man! He’s not even Cuban but they love him! Barbarita, I think Castro will like this. He can make millions.

Barbarita:
No, y no, y no! I have told you several times I will never tell Fidel that building stores named after one of the greatest revolutionaries in the world will be a good idea. Please Bob, I am sure you are very nice. I will send you some AMOR CUBANO free of charge. I think you may need to use it. Have a good day.
