Maceo Cabrera Estevéz debuted her multimedia theater performance, Amor Cubano: In a bottle, a tube and a small packet to standing room only crowds this November. She took the Bay Area into the world of Barbarita Perales- creator of Amor Cubano, the only product that puts the essence of all that's Cuban in a bottle, a tube and a small packet and sells it on an infomercial. Amor Cubano is so powerful it can make Berkeley people have bed-breaking sex, stop cops from shutting down the immigrant rights rally and make your Castro-hating Cuban mom wise up. But can it bring Barbarita's son home from Iraq? Is it powerful enough to end the war and stop Homeland Security from deporting Barbarita? Come find out and be part of the studio audience of Amor Cubano: in a bottle, a tube and a small packet, a hilarious mediation on what it means to be Cuban, and a prayer to end war in our time.

With live and video performances by: Elliot "Toby" Borrero, Oscar Trujillo, Randall Babtkis, Carolyn Cooke, Mekael Johnson, Micaela Diaz-Sanchez, Rosa Gonzalez, Brendon DeMay, Cynthia Renta, Leydisvel Freire Peña, Salam Hassan, Amos Glick, Eric Avilés and Gonzalo Cabrera.

A bilingual English and Spanish play with a little bit of Arabic. Subtitles in English and Spanish on videos.

Barbarita Perales and Amor Cubano endorse Barack Obama

Dear users and fans of Amor Cubano: In a bottle, a tube and a small packet,

When I registered to vote with a new address I declined to state my party. Porque tu sabe que I have better parties than the ones on the bill. Bueno, I also asked to be a mail in voter because I am too busy making Amor Cubano: In a bottle, a tube and a small packet to go to the polls. Bueno, I received my mail in ballot and there were no presidential primary candidates. I looked through the envelope and made sure that papers weren't stuck together, pero no. To tell you the truth, I cried. I cried because I really wanted to vote for Barack Obama. I thought I wouldn't have the opportunity. I thought to myself, I should of lied, I should have said I was a democrat for the sake of voting. Pero I didn't know.

Well good news is that the Democratic Party lets you vote in their party if you are a decline to state voter like me, Barbarita Perales. I just have to go to the polls and tell them I want a Democrat ballot. I was overjoyed when I read that. I can vote for Barack Obama!

I will tell you why I want to vote for him. Barack Obama is invested in the future of the people of this country. God willing he will become president and I know he will face many obstacles in Washington pero I believe that he will work extra hard and push through because he has a vision. He will always go back to his vision even when there are pitfalls, even in times when he is put against the wall. I believe he has this strength. Our health, our well being, our education, our inner freedom is part of his vision. With our help Barack Obama can win. This is an opportunity for Americans to really support this country and help make the changes that we need to become a more compassionate nation. Barack Obama isn't even Cuban pero he has plenty of Amor Cubano. He even wants to open up relations with Cuba. Gracias a Dios because a 49 years blockade is older than me and that is too long.

Beautiful people, if you are registered, get out and vote. I hope you will join me and Amor Cubano: In a bottle, a tube and a small packet by voting for Barack Obama. And bring your Amor Cubano to the polls I am sure you will meet people that will need some. Remember it is all about sharing.

If you want more information on Barack Obama please go to: www.barackobama.com

Many blessings to you.

con mucho amor cubano,
Barbarita Perales
